Sonia Utermann studied physics and has been working on European particle accelerators since 2012 – in both the public and private sectors. She has many years of experience in project management and technology transfer. Since 2024, she has been part of the technology transfer team at GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung GmbH. Working closely with representatives from industry, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, she aims to further develop accelerators into vibrant hubs of innovation that drive social and economic progress.
