The Super-FRS Local Cryogenics System connects the FAIR Cryogenic (Distribution) System with the Super-FRS s.c. magnet cryostats (multiplets, dipoles, GLAD)
Its purpose is to allow for the magnets’ robust and safe cryogenic operation, in terms of cooldown, warmup, LHe filling, quench buffering, etc..
Along the Super-FRS beam line, the Local Cryogenics is structured as Branches of interconnected Feed Box Groups, accompanied by the parallel ACPS lines, interconnected by a central Branch Box
