Department Building Process Automation (GPA)
As the backbone of building services engineering, the department Building Process Automation (GPA) is responsible for the comprehensive control and further development of building services and process-related automation systems. It ensures the operational reliability of the technical infrastructure and, through standardization, digitization, and optimization of the control systems (Siclimat X/legacy and Desigo CC/new), plays a key role in guaranteeing the long-term performance of the entire division.
In this context, the department plays a central coordinating role with regard to adjacent organizational units and is specifically responsible for:
- Measurement, control, and regulation technology in the field of building and plant engineering
- Planning of measurement, control, and regulation systems
- Conversion and modernization of existing systems
- Operation and maintenance of measurement, control, and regulation systems and their components for technical building equipment
- Preparation and maintenance of M&C documentation
