Department Electrical Engineering Buildings (GET)
The Department GET is responsible for the strategic direction of electrical operations at GSI. It establishes the organizational and personnel framework necessary for safe and reliable facility operations.

Key Responsibilities GET
- Strategic development of the electrical infrastructure
- Staff development and training of technical personnel
- Organization and management of the department
- Establishment of standards, processes, and responsibilities
- Overarching involvement in construction and engineering projects on the GSI campus
- Management of the commissioning and commissioning of new electrical systems (particularly FAIR GmbH)
- Assurance of long-term operational responsibility
