Campus Master Plan
Presentation of the planned development for the next 15 years. The current FAIR/GSI Campus Master Plan (CMP) dates from 2025. It sets out the basic guidelines for the constructional and organizational development of FAIR with GSI. The CMP was developed in response to the considerable renovation requirements and challenges posed by the future operation of FAIR with GSI.
The CMP serves as a guideline for development and is used in detail as a basis for structural, financial, constructional, functional, and technical decisions. The CMP provides a framework but is not a rigid tool regarding particular details. It is continuously updated and adapted to the circumstances of GSI, developments with FAIR, and the requirements of research and accelerator operations.
After several years of operation of FAIR FS+, the requirements will be revaluated and incorporated into a revised version of the CMP.
The version linked above (PDF) is currently only available in German. Cost information is hidden in the web version of the CMP. The version is compressed for technical reasons, a high-resolution version can be requested.

Project Development
In the context of Project Development, CAM develops solutions for GSI's construction and structural needs. In doing so, it takes into account identified and known requirements as well as legal, structural, and organizational conditions on campus and in campus operations. The information is compiled in planning concepts and project studies, coordinated with users, and, if necessary, submitted to management for decision-making.
Coordinated and approved planning concepts and project studies form the basis for planning and construction services in construction management or building maintenance in accordance with service phase 0 of the HOAI.
