Join us online on 28 June 2024 09:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. + optional 13:15 – 15:15 (CET)

Online information event organized by GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung GmbH in cooperation with European Liaison Office of the German Research Organisations (KoWi). Registration via eu-support(at)gsi.de

The event aims in particular at

  • International researchers independent of nationality planning to conduct a MSC-PF project at GSI/FAIR, i.e. applying for European Postdoctoral Fellowship
  • GSI/FAIR researchers willing to gainresearch experience abroad (outside of EU or EU associated courtiers) and holding a national or long-term (at least five consecutive years) residentship of EU or EU associated country, i.e. applying for Global Postdoctoral Fellowship.
  • Potential supervisors - please keep in mind that your research proposal should be written jointly with your chosen host organisation.

At this event, experts will introduce the most relevant aspects of the actual MSC-PF call and provide helpful tips on writing a successful proposal. In addition, successful MSC-IF applicant will share a personal experience – you will have a possibility to learn from successful proposal before you submit yours!

Optional (1 to 1) discussions with the supervisor of your choice may be arranged (please mention it during the registration via eu-support(at)gsi.de).

GSI Grant Office administrative staff involved in proposal submission and further project management will moderate this event. Your questions during and after the webinar would be most welcomed and appreciated.

In view of the fact that several weeks are needed for application preparation, we highly recommend you to use this chance to get in contact with potential supervisor and GSI Grant Office in time and preferably prior summer holidays!
