Image and film use policy: GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung GmbH owns the right of use for all images and films published on this website – if not stated otherwise. For non-commercial purposes and for personal information and educational purposes, GSI will grant a free, non-transferable right of use under the following conditions: The copyright holder and the author must be featured clearly readable as proprietor, as it is stated beneath the images and films. (Example: „Image: GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung GmbH, Name of photographer“.) The granted right of use does not cover any modification of the image or film.

The use for other than the above stated or commercial purposes is not permitted without prior consultation of GSI. In case you would like to use an image for commercial purposes (e. g. advertising), please contact the GSI public relations office (info(at)gsi.de). In this case we require a written statement about your intentions (via E-Mail) and additionally a draft of your voucher copy to be published. Only after this procedure GSI can decide whether to place the requested image or film at your disposal.
