JobTicket

RMV offers the JobTicketDeutschland.

For Jena 2 types of JobTickets are offered. JobTicketDeutschland and the JobTicket. One of the differences is that the JobTicketDeutschland is valid throughout Germany and entitles you to unlimited use of all local public transport. You can find more info on the websites:

Update on JobTicket subsidies from November 20, 2025, from the BADV (Federal Office for Central Services and Unresolved Property Issues):

Due to a lack of agreement with the BMF, there will be no increase in the maximum employer subsidy.

This will remain at a maximum of €23.28 per month for all JobTickets, including the Deutschlandticket Job.

Delay of the bus line

If this waiting time of up to 5 minutes is not observed when the S-Bahn is delayed, we would ask you to send a message to zentrale-dienste(at)gsi.de stating the date and exact time. These reports will be collected and forwarded accordingly.

The works transport between the Planckstraße campus and the “Merianstraße” stop (Heckgelände, Steinhaus) on the G line can be used free of charge.

We would like to point out that the GSI/FAIR card serves as a ticket replacement for this route. Please carry the card with you and show it as a ticket replacement if required.

  • The bikesharing stations located throughout the city of Darmstadt give the opportunity to continue routes flexibly and individually.

In addition to the bike rental station Call-a-bike, there will also be an e-scooter rental station from Bolt from 15.05.24. You can find all information about the process on

the Bolt website: Easy, Safe Scooter Rental | Bolt. Here you will also find the Bolt app, which is required to rent the e-scooters.

The parking area for the e-scooters is located on PH Süd, between the parking garage and the gate, next to the bicycle stand. The parking area is marked with a floor marking
