Professor Mulser was Professor of Theoretical Physics at the Physics Department of Technical University Darmstadt from 1981 to 2001. This year's SPARC collaboration PhD Prize was awarded to Dr. Guy Leckenby from University of British Columbia, Canada, for his thesis entitled “Exotic Decay Measurements at the Experimental Storage Ring for Neutron Capture Processes”. The ceremony took place in the framework of the 22nd SPARC Topical Workshop at the University of Ioannina, Greece, where the award was handed over by Prof. Reinhold Schuch from the University of Stockholm and the spokesperson of the SPARC collaboration.
