Participation in qualified digital remote signature at GSI & FAIR
From the Management board selected participants at GSI & FAIR and their business partners have the opportunity to sign digitally with the qualified remote signature solution MOXIS from the company Xitrust.
According to a management decision, only managing directors and authorised signatories should currently sign digitally to the outside world for legal reasons. Therefore, it would be necessary for you to send a GFEV to KGF in order to obtain approval from the management for a digital legally binding signature (QES according to eIDAS).
We would then be happy to check with our service provider Xitrust (A-Trust) whether the current system meets your requirements. Please send us a service specification for this purpose.

Legal certainty through eIDAS regulation
A qualified electronic signature is the same in the digital world as a handwritten signature is in the analog world. By law, the qualified electronic signature (QES) is the highest quality form of digital signature.
Article 25, paragraph 2 of the eIDAS Regulation, which is the basis for all forms of electronic signatures, stipulates that the qualified electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.
