04.06.2025 |
If you are currently traveling in Darmstadt or the surrounding area, you may have already caught a glimpse of them: Several public buses have recently been on the road with large-scale advertising for GSI and FAIR. The eye-catching vehicles draw attention to the diverse career opportunities at GSI and FAIR in the daily cityscape - directly in public spaces, where many people are out and about.
With the recruiting campaign, GSI and FAIR want to attract new specialists and create more visibility for the numerous exciting professional fields that the internationally recognized research center has to offer. We are looking for experts in the fields of engineering, IT, technology and administration, among others. Apprenticeships, dual study programs and positions for career starters are also part of the extensive range of jobs on offer.
“FAIR is one of the largest and most complex research facilities in the world, currently under construction in Darmstadt — a flagship international project in the field of physics. To realize and operate this major endeavor over the long term, we need dedicated, creative, and versatile professionals,” says Dr. Katharina Stummeyer, Administrative Managing Director of GSI and FAIR. “We offer not only exciting tasks in a unique scientific environment but also family-friendly working conditions, opportunities for professional development, and an international team.”
The design of the advertising motifs picks up on the motto “The universe in the lab”. The aim is to convey the unique combination of high-tech, internationality and socially relevant cutting-edge research.
In the coming months, the buses with the GSI/FAIR campaign will be regularly on the road on various routes in the city of Darmstadt and the Darmstadt-Dieburg district, arousing curiosity about a professional future in an extraordinary working environment. (LW)
