Hands-on science: Last Saturday, visitors from near and far flocked to Roßmarkt to find out more about research from Frankfurt and the surrounding area. The big event, put together by the Frankfurt Alliance, featured an exciting stage program and lots of activities. This year, 31 students from 16 countries took part in the Summer Student Program at GSI and FAIR. They spent eight weeks on campus, got to know the experiments and research fields of GSI and FAIR and immersed themselves in the atmosphere of an international accelerator laboratory.
