Components

The Super-FRagmentSeparator is going to be the most powerful in-flight separator worldwide. It will provide clean and intense beams of unstable, short-lived nuclei of all elements up to uranium, necessary to explore special properties of nuclides very far from the valley of stability.

Buildings Interface and Building Special Components

The construction of the buildings, inside which the SFRS will be placed, is under the coordindation of the FAIR-Site-and-Building (FSB) division. Information about FAIR Civil Construction can be found here.

Some peculiar aspects of the SFRS buildings require a close collaboration work between FSB and the Super-FRS work package leaders. Among these topics are:
