The 2026 Summer Party will take place on August 27, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
We are especially pleased to welcome the emergency responders who assisted us during the fire.
As the saying goes: Come one, come all!
Even better: Bring a good mood and join in!

When and where is the party?
- Thursday, August 27th 2026 , 11 am - 6 pm
- Food and drinks are available between Südbau and BK1, and the surrounding green spaces are perfect for relaxing – see Summer Festival Map 2026.
And here are the details:
What's on the menu?
- International cuisine --> Our colleagues from Germany and abroad present their cuisine
- Barbecue specialities with meat, vegetarian and vegan food from our caterer Alsterfood
- Cakes in the afternoon
- And ice cream is a must, too
Cold drinks all day long:
- water, soft drinks
- as well as beer and wine
- Coffee and tea in the afternoon
Our cafeteria is also open for us with coffee specialties, pastries and snacks.
Any Musik?
- Of course: recorded music!
What sort of activities are there?
- The fast ions offer many hands-on activities:
- Basketball
- Badminton
- Basketball
- Bocia
- Archery
- Juggling
- Chess
- Table tennis
- Viking Chess (Kubb)
- and for our kids there is a painting station and face painting.
How to pay?
- With vouchers (bons) ... so exchange money for vouchers :-)
- Each voucher is worth 50 cents or 1 euro
- Planckstraße and the Heck office: on August 25 and 26, 2026 from 11.00 am to 12.30 pm, in the canteen
- Borsigstraße:Jutta Winter (BS9.2.202, Tel.: -3491) and Claudia Nunner-Bisignano (BS11.3.335, Tel.: -1750) August 25 and 26, 2026 from 11:30 am - 3:00 pm
- Bought too much? Receipt redemption at the receipt cash desk only on the day of the festival

We need your support!
Dear colleagues, a party like this needs many hands...
- Cake donations
- We are happy to receive homemade pastries and cakes (sweet and savoury) for the cake buffet, as they simply taste better than bought baked goods and we then have a great selection.
- Drop off on the day of the summer festival (27 August 2026) from 10.00 am in the side room of the cafeteria
- International dishes
- Have you always wanted to show off your cooking skills and introduce your national cuisine to your colleagues?
- Then take part in the international cuisine stalls! The portion size should be offered as a snack or finger food so that as many colleagues as possible can try it.
- The snacks will be sold at small prices via vouchers.

- Support with sale assistance, set-up and dismantling, etc.
- We also need many helping hands at the drinks and wine stand, voucher sales, cake buffet, etc.

Bring your loved ones?
You are welcome to bring guests to the party, the responsibility and supervision lies with you. As usual, please remember to register your guests at the gate beforehand so that they can enter the campus without any problems!
The dear 4-legged friends must unfortunately stay outside (assistance dogs are, of course, allowed).
