User Help Desk (UHD)
User Help Desk is your first contact in all IT related requests. Need personalized advice? During opening times, the IT staff will be happy to support.
Mon, Tue, Thu: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Wed, Fri: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Procedures in case of IT related trouble, even outside the opening times, can be found in this guide.
Additional accessibility of UHD via 3968 (Testing period)
The additional telephone number is a test offer by the User Help Desk to expand the accessibility in case of urgent IT disturbances outside the regular UHD opening hours (Mo, Tu, Th 9-17; We, Fr 9-15).
If UHD employees are present before or after these opening hours, you can reach them from Monday to Thursday via the new telephone number.
You may get instant support in case of, for example:
- 1st level support for IT issues
- Reset passwords (Windows / Mail, Linux)
- Several lendings (laptops, conference cam, meeting stuff, ...), if available
Requests, which can not be handled sufficiently by the UHD, will be forwarded to the relevant colleagues by telephone or by e-mail. In addition, a ticket with high priority will be created in the IT Trouble Ticket System.
In addition, you can of course continue to report faults or individual inquiries by e-mail to it-service(at)gsi.de.
