Tasks
The task of the design office is to plan and design mechanical and electromechanical components for the installation of accelerators and experiments on the basis of specified scientific requirements. The staff does this in close collaboration with the particular project leaders and by using ultra-modern facilities.
Furthermore the design office is the central contact for advice concerning technical engineering and design.
