Beam Time at GSI
Beam Time 2019
There will be operation of UNILAC and SIS18 after a dedicated engineering run in Nov./Dec. 2018.
The UNILAC runs with an energy limitation of 8.6 MeV/u at 50 Hz operation. Up to 10 Hz and 1 ms, operation with the full energy of 11.4 MeV/u is available. Only fix UNILAC energies are available due to the fact that the single gap resonator are not in operation.
Please note that the beam time schedule is subject to a scheduled completion of the engineering run (including construction measures and machine recommissioning). Delays lead directly to shifts of the beam time schedule.
