Duties and Responsibilities


  • Realisation of interdisciplinary solutions for experiment specific requirements
  • Development, assembly and commissioning of

        - analog and digital circuits
        - microcontroller systems (Atmel)
        - electronic components and devices
        - sensor systems

  • Simulation of electronic circuits (PSpice)
  • Requirement evaluation, planning, programming and servicing of data acquisition and control systems (National Instruments, LabView)
  • Maintenance of electrical equipment and systems of SHIP experimental setup

        - Magnet power supplies Bruker / Danfisik (200/400A)
        - High voltage power supplies Haefely (+-330kV)
        - Target wheel motor and control electronics
        - SHIP Interlock system
        - Valve and vacuum control system
        - "Schlitzbackensteuerung"

  • Design of mechanical parts, devices and front panels (CAD)
  • Creation of various prototypes and pcbs
  • Supporting:

        - Beam Energy Controlling system Y5
        - Target Online Monitoring system
        - SHIPTrap

  • Mentoring working students and pupils
  • "Sicherheitsbeauftragter" Experimentierhalle (EH) and Ostspange
