An international team of researchers at GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung has succeeded in discovering four new atomic nuclei. The exotic nuclei are one isotope each of the elements berkelium and neptunium and two isotopes of the element americium. Reminder for the Photography Contest

Dear photography enthusiasts at GSI and FAIR.
It is still possible to participate with a picture until the 11.9.15.
This year’s topic: „GSI and FAIR around the world"
This means the pictures must be taken OUTSIDE of the GSI/FAIR campus AND they have to contain a clear reference to GSI or FAIR. (Examples: FAIR parts at other labs, GSI lanyard around the Manneken Pis, etc).
Please submit your photo in hardware in DIN A3 size (ca. 30x42cm, printable e.g. in the dm Drogeriemarkt or online photo services, ca. 3-7 Euro).
All GSI and FAIR employees can participate. Please submit only photos you took yourself. You are welcome to participate with pictures made on a cellphone.
Bring the pics (in hardware) to my office: BR 2 1.150 (close to the forklifts) or use the internal mailing system.
The photos will be on display from 14.9. - 9.10.15 in the KBW foyer.
Have fun taking pictures
