Eduroam configuration: Linux
Please follow these steps to configure your eduroam access using Linux:
- First download the required certificate and save it with file extension .pem
- until 24.10.2018: Deutsche Telekom ROOT CA 2
- from 25.10.2018: TeleSec CA
- Open the network manager
- Choose eduroam
- Security: WPA & WPA2 Enterprise
- Authentication: EAP (PEAP)
- Anonymous identity: anonymous at gsi.de
- Inner Authentication: MSCHAPv2
The IP address will be assigned via DHCP. You can now access the Internet via eduroam with your user name and password described before.
