Rudolf Bock * 21.5.1927     † 9.4.2024 who passed away at the age of 96 after a rich and fulfilling life. Prof. Bock was one of the founding fathers of GSI in 1969. Until his retirement in 1995, he was a member of the Scientific Directorate of GSI and in this function played a decisive role in shaping the scientific profile of GSI.
