The physicist and geologist Livia Ludhova, professor of experimental neutrino physics at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and head of the joint neutrino group at GSI as well as head of the DFG-funded project FAIR-Research NRW, was recently honored with the Slovakian Order Ľudovít Štúr, 2nd Class, Civil Department. This prestigious award was presented by the President of the Slovak Republic, Peter Pellegrini, in Bratislava.
