PMO experts - project planning and risk management (all genders)

Your Tasks:
- Supervision and updating of risk management and the project plans (deadlines, resources and finances) of the FAIR project
- Supervision of the development and configuration of tools required for reporting and independent use of these tools for monitoring and controlling the project
- Taking the responsibility for a planning-specific task area
- Organization of project workshops, trainings and meetings related to project planning and risk management
- Help to solve planning problems with the work-package leaders and sub-project leaders
- Participation in preparing reports on project structure, risk management, project planning, project status, and project steering
- Support for project planning quality management for the continuous optimization of the project
- Creation of statistics, reports and error analysis
- Creation and maintenance of documentation e.g., for work processes.
- Various project supporting tasks in the project planning and risk management group
Your Profile:
- University degree (MSc. or diploma) in scientific or technical studies, maybe also in the fields of Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Affinity for complex projects and technical issues
- Rapid understanding and commitment to a scientific environment
- Knowledge of standard methods and tools in project management; PM certificate will be a plus
- Ideally, knowledge of Planisware, MS Project and MS Excel
- Knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
- Readiness to learn, teamwork and intercultural competence
- Endurance and passion with complex and dynamic tasks in the team
You also work with an eye for detail and have strong communication skills, a confident manner and interpersonal skills.
We offer at our internationally renowned research institute once fully familiarized with the job, a varied and challenging job with a high degree of responsibility within an experienced project team. The position is limited to a term of 5 years.
Salary is equivalent to that for public employees as specified in the collective agreement for public employees (TVöD Bund). Working from home is possible by agreement.
