We are building the international accelerator Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research FAIR, one of the largest research projects worldwide, next to the facility of GSI Helmholtzzentrum for Heavy Ion Research, whose existing accelerators serve as injectors. The FAIR GmbH, an international company owned by Germany and nine partner countries from Europe and Asia is responsible for the project realization. At FAIR, an unprecedented variety of experiments will be possible. Scientists from all over the world will be able to gain new insights into the structure of matter and the evolution of the universe from the Big Bang to the present.

Your responsibilities:

You will report to the Group- leader of Reporting & Processes.
As a member of the Reporting & Processes you will take responsibility and initiative in a broad range of tasks, e.g.

  • Preparation of the quarterly reports for the Federal Ministry of Education and Research
  • Identify and analyze requirements together with the internal/external stakeholders
  • Participation in the definition and development of project processes for project steering and progress measurements
  • Creation of project reports, documentation, newsletters, periodic and special presentations
  • Special tasks and project-supporting tasks


Your profile:

  • Administrative education or a similar qualification
  • Professional Experience in Reporting, administration, project management and business anal
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience in the application of SAP and MS Project is desirable
  • Excellent proficiency level in German (spoken and written) and fluent english


The position is initially planned for 5 years. Salary is equivalent to that for public employees as specified in the collective agreement for public employees (TVöD Bund).
