Construction of the new infrastructure (CNI) for the FAIR project

This EU project addresses crucial construction needs for the international Facility for Antiprotons and Ion Research (FAIR). FAIR is an internal target experiment with high-energy, stored and cooled secondary beams (radioactive ions and antiprotons) planned for construction in Darmstadt, Germany. The CNI project focuses on the SIS18 upgrade, on HADES, on R3B and on the overall construction.
