Installation of the GSI Security Certificates

- Internet Explorer 6
- Internet Explorer 7
- Mozilla Firefox (email client Thunderbird, Netscape, Opera)

The following certificates are needed:
(In Firefox the certificates must be partly stored on the Harddisk and opened from there)

• Wurzelzertifikat Deutsche Telekom Root CA 2 (is allready installed in the Internet Explorer 6 and 7)
• DFN-Verein PCA Global - G01
• GSI CA 02 

Additional certificates for Windows Mobile devices:

• Windows Mobile 5 - Wurzelzertifikat Deutsche Telekom Root CA 2
• Windows Mobile 5 - DFN-Verein PCA Global - G01
• Windows Mobile 5 - GSI CA 02

• Windows Mobile 6 - Wurzelzertifikat Deutsche Telekom Root CA 2 (Firefox with "Save page as")
• Windows Mobile 6 - DFN-Verein PCA Global - G01 (Firefox with "Save page as")
• Windows Mobile 6 - GSI CA 02 (Firefox with "Save page as")

Import Internet Explorer 6:

You open the certificates DFN-Verein PCA Global - G01 and GSI CA 02.
Click the Button Install Certificate and follow the instructions of the Import Wizard.
Please keep the default settings.

Import Internet Explorer 7:

You open the certificates DFN-Verein PCA Global - G01 and GSI CA 02 and click the Button Install Certificate.

Certificate Import Wizard:

Activate Place all certificates in the following store and use the Button Browse to choose the Certificate Store.

Select Trusted Root Certification Authorities and click OK.

Button Finish and the following notice click the Button Yes.

Import Mozilla Firefox:

In Firefox all certificates must be installed. Please open the certificates respectively with "Page save as" save the certificates on your Hard drive and open it. Then activate the following fields:

Trust this CA to identify web sites and Trust this CA to identify email users (if you use Thunderbird as email client please read also this Webside) and click OK.

Now the import is finished.
