Using Outlook 2010 outside GSI or from the GF-Admin network via Exchange 2010
If you are working outside GSI or within the GF-Admin network, you have 2 options how to access your e-mails:
Configuring Outlook 2010
Before you start make sure that the GSI Security Certificate is installed correctly in your MS Internet Explorer.
Open Start → Settings → Control Panel → Mail: Choose Show Profiles
Click the Button Add and type any name for the profile.
In the following window activate Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next
 .
Activate Microsoft Exchange or compatible service and click Next.
Type in the field server: hubcas2010.gsi.de and check "Use Cache Exchange Mode" for a faster performance. Enter your lastname in the field User Name.
Click the Button More Settings.
Choose tab Connection and check Connect to my Exchange mailbox using HTTP and click the Button Exchange Proxy Settings.
Complete the Exchange proxy server's URL https://wintmg01.gsi.de and mark the options for fast and slow networks and choose Basic Authentication:
Clck oK and choose the tab Security and activate Encrypt data between Microsoft Outlook and Mircrosoft Exchange
Close all windows by clicking OK.
For the login, enter your
User name: campus\<your XP user name> z.B. campus\reinhardt
Password: enter your <XP-Password>
