Scientific-Technical Infrastructure

The department provides the technology which is needed by scientist for heavy ion research. The expertise of about 200 physicists, engineers, technicians and specialists in the scientific-technical infrastructure ensures the design and development of the best available instrumentation systems. The department works in close collaboration with the university research community as well as with the industry to enhance the technology transfer.
