Wissenschaftlicher Rat (WR)
The “Wissenschaftlicher Rat (WR)” is the international advisory board of GSI
with 12 external members. The board gives advice to the GSI
Directorate on all scientific and technical matters. The
Wissenschaftlicher Rat meets twice a year for two days each. In
addition to following up and giving advice on the general directions of
the scientific-technical program, major tasks of the Wissenschaftlicher
Rat include reviews of selected fields of research as well as of the
Annual Scientific Report.
