A unique electro plating facility was built in GSI for internal demand during the assembling of the accelerator. Now this facility is also available for external demand.

Material surfaces of structural steel, stainless steel, copper and brass can be shiny copper plated with a layer up to 300 µm through the equipment.

The advantage of this facility lies in the fact that large components can be copper plated.

The dimensions of the components can have a maximum length up to 2,5 m and a diameter of 0,6 m. (Per arrangement diameter up to 2,5 m is possible).
