Public transportation F/M Airport to GSI or Arheilgen (hotel)

(take a printed version along!)

From Frankfurt Airport (Terminal 1) by Bus OF-64 (via Dreieich-Buschlag) or Bus 651 (via Neu-Isenburg) and then by S3 to Darmstadt-Wixhausen or Darmstadt-Arheilgen

1. Go to the blue Vending-machines located in the local train (S-train) terminal (to be reached from Airport Terminal I/ have Euro coins ready): (How to use the machine look here)
   1. select "Darmstadt-Wixhausen" (for GSI) or "Darmstadt-Arheilgen" (for hotel)
   2. it then offers you two ways: choose the first where the price is 3.70 Euro
      then go upstairs to the Bus gates (outside Terminal 1) to Bus-gate 18. There
2. two bus services connect to the S-train line:
   • Take Bus OF-64 departing every hour at ~hh:42 with destination "Dreieich-Offenthal" and leave at the 5-th stop called "Dreieich-Buchschlag Bahnhof" at hh:58
   • or (except Sunday morning) take Bus 651 departing every hour at hh:13 with destination "Obertshausen" and leave at the 5-th stop called "Neu-Isenburg Bahnhof Westseite" at hh:29
3. then go to the adjacent S-train station and take the S3 train with destination "Darmstadt" and leave at "Darmstadt-Wixhausen (for GSI)" or "Darmstadt Arheilgen (for hotel)"

• If you arrive at Airport Frankfurt-Hahn take the bus-service (running more than once an hour) to the Frankfurt Airport Terminal 1 (duration 1:45 h) and then follow the above route.
