Introduction to hadron physics 2 group (HAD2):

Hadron physics 2 group (HAD2) is founded on the basis of collaboration between GSI and Helmholtz-Institut Mainz. The main research interest of HAD2 is to investigate the hadron structure by participating PANDA experiment at the future FAIR facility. In particular, we focus on the feasibility and physics of electromagnetic processes in proton anti-proton annihilation reaction in PANDA.

We are currently involved in the R&D of the electromagnetic calorimeter (EMC) for the future PANDA detector. Monte Carlo simulation of various physics channels are also under going.
