We welcome the Seoul National University to the HypHI collaboration.

The fifth HypHI test experiment was performed with 136Xe beams in cave C.

Two PhD students, Vakkas Bozkurt and Birguel Goekuezuem, joined the group.

The fourth HypHI test experiment was performed with 6Li beams in cave A.

A new postdoc, Banu Oezel, joined the group.

A new postdoc, Sebastien Bianchin, joined the group.

The third HypHI test experiment was performed with 58Ni and 12C beams in cave B.

A new PhD student, Olga Borodina, joined the group.

The second HypHI test experiment was performed with 12C beams and pion beams in cave A.

November 2006
A new PhD student, Daisuke Nakajima of Tokyo University joined the group.

August 2006
The first HypHI test experiment was performed with 12C beams in cave C.

1st April 2006
The group is officially started with Take Saito, Shizu Minami, Christophe Rappold and Olga Lepyoshkina.

26th and 27th January 2006
The second HypHI collaboration meeting at GSI.

1st January 2006
Dr. Shizu Minami of the Osaka Electro-Communication University started her appointment as a GSI guest researcher for the HypHI project.

1st January 2006
Dr. Myroslav Kavatsyuk continued working in the group but with a contract as an I3HP HYPER-GAMMA research fellow.

19th November 2005
The HypHI spokesperson T. Saito was selected as a leader of one of 17 Helmholtz-University Young Investigators Groups, and a new research group for the HypHI project will be funded by the Helmholtz Association and GSI from April 2006 for five years with a coperation of Mainz University.

1st Novemver 2005
Dr. Myroslav Kavatsyuk joined the group as a research fellow of Mainz University.

24th October 2005
The HypHI progress report was presented in the GSI PAC meeting.

23rd September 2005
The HypHI progress report was submitted to the GSI PAC. It can be downloaded at

The first HypHI collaboration meeting was held at GSI.

20th and 21st June 2005
The International Workshop HypHI05 was held at GSI.

25th May 2005
The HypHI project was presented in the meeting of GSI scientific council.

The HypHI project was presented at the meeting of the GSI PAC.

21st February 2005
The Letter Of Intent (LOI) has been submitted to the GSI PAC. The submitted version can be downloaded at

LOI has also been handed to the FAIR secretary. It has been also distributed to the members of the NuSTAR board.
