November 2007/January 2008: In informal talks with Björn Gålnander during the FAIR-Start-Event on November 7 and 8, 2007, as well as during the November SFAIR Meeting, we discussed the possibility to obtain the CELSIUS electron cooler as an in-kind contribution of the Uppsala group. (The CELSIUS device is similar to the present ESR electron cooler.)

15-Sep-2007: We had very informative and constructive discussions with our colleagues Vasily Parkhomchuk, Alexander Bubley, and Vladimir Reva from the Budker Institute in Novosibirsk/Russia, and with Andreas Wolf from MPI Heildelberg/Germany. Based on the previous discussions and on the Budker Institute proposal for an ultracold electron target as well as on the discussions we had in Bad Kreuznach, Vasily Parkhomchuk and his colleaques have prepared additional explanations, comments, and elucidations on details of the electron target.

13-Sep-2007: At the Cool07 International Workshop in Bad Kreuznach/Germany we had a meeting on Thursday afternoon with our colleagues from Novosibirsk: Alexander Skrinsky, Vasily Parkhomchuk, Alexander Bubley, and Vladimir Reva. The main objective of the discussions was to prepare the meeting and the discussions on the electron target scheduled for Saturday, September 15, 2007.

1-Aug-2007: Please do not forget to fill the web registration form for the electron target working group.

1-Aug-2007: At the ICPEAC Conference in Freiburg/Germany we had working group meetings on Thursday, July 26, and on Monday, July 30, 2007 with a special emphasis on the finances. In addition to the agenda shown below, we had a short discussion on possible future experiments as well.

  1. Progress Report:
    • Civil construction.
    • Particle detectors.
    • Electron target parameters.
  2. Finances.
  3. AOB.

26-Nov-2004: Minutes of the meeting of the Working Group
