Willkommen und vielen Dank für Ihren Besuch auf der Webseite der Abteilung Biophysik der GSI in Darmstadt. Die GSI Biophysik ist eine Kollaboration aus Biologen, Physikern, Chemikern, Biochemikern und Technikern.

Die interdisziplinär ausgerichtete Forschung unserer Gruppe lässt sich grob in die Arbeitsgebiete Strahlenbiologie, Physik, Weltraumforschung und Therapie unterteilen.

Die GSI Biophysik ist eingebunden in ein weites Netz von Kollaborationen - von der Tumortherapie bis hin zur Untersuchung von Reparaturmechanismen in der DNA mit zahlreichen strahlenbiologisch und biophysikalisch tätigen Gruppen von Universitäten und Instituten aus aller Welt.
