  The GSI beam dynamics group develops and maintains simulation codes.

Beam dynamics codes:

  • MIMAC (3D nonlinear tracking with space charge)
  • LOBO (1D longitudinal dynamics with impedances and collisions)
  • Sliced 3D tracking (3D tracking with space charge and impedances)
  • IBSY (3D rate equations for cooling dynamics)
