Here you will find Mathematica Packages for remote access of measurement equipment.

Sony Tektronix FFT

SonyTektronixUtils is a Mathematica package to import and evaluate binary date from the SonyTektronix 3066/3086 FFT analyzers. With the functions of the package one can decode IQ, as well as IQT files to a Mathematica list structure containing the scaled amplitude and phase data versus frequency and time. Furthermore, density plots similar to those on the screen of the instrument can be generated off-line. The full information like file header or instrument settings can be exploited. The package is compatible with Mathematica 5.0.

Either the package SonyTektronixUtils.m only, or the package including an example notebook and a test data file can be downloaded. The example notebook will work directly, when stored in the same folder as package and test data file.

LeCroy WaveForms


LeCroyWaveFormUtils is a Mathematica package to import and evaluate binary date from LeCroy oscilloscopes in the LECROY_2_3 template format (LC, LT, WaveRunner, WaveSurfer). With the functions of the package one can decode the LeCroy waveforms to a list structure in Mathematica and finally scale them to get the amplitude versus time information. The package works with single trace, as well as segmented traces. The full information like file header or instrument settings can be exploited. The package is compatible with Mathematica 5.0.

Either the package LeCroyWaveFormUtils.m only or the package including an example notebook and a test data file can be downloaded. The example notebook will work directly, when stored in the same folder as package and test data file.
